Who they're for: anyone who wants a great-smelling home without an open flame — renters, dorm residents, offices, and gift-givers.

Which one do you need?

  • Reed diffusers — for continuous fragrance. 5.8 fl oz (165 g), noticeable about 45 minutes after you insert the reeds, and lasting around 90 days. Nothing to switch on or off. Use 3 to 4 reeds in a small room, more for a stronger scent.
  • Room & linen sprays — for an instant refresh. 4 fl oz, freshening a room for around 20 minutes per use. Best right before guests arrive, or on linens. Available with a cap or a trigger spray.

If you want your home to smell good all day without thinking about it, choose a diffuser. If you want to reset a room in ten seconds, choose a spray. Many people keep both.

Care and precautions

  • Diffuser oil can mark wood, painted and polished surfaces — stand the bottle on a coaster or tray, and wash your hands after handling the reeds.
  • Spot-test sprays on delicate fabrics before misting linens, and don't spray directly on people, pets, food or polished surfaces.
  • Keep both out of reach of children and pets. Neither is edible.
