Clamshell Wax Melts

How to use them safely

Our wax melts have no wick and no flame of their own, but they do need a warmer in order to melt. We recommend an electric warmer. If you use a tealight warmer, you are using an open flame and every normal candle precaution applies.

  • Melted wax is hot and liquid. Place the warmer on a stable, level, heat-safe surface where it cannot be knocked over — away from counter edges, curtains, and anywhere a pet can jump.
  • Never leave a warmer unattended, and switch it off before you leave the house or go to sleep.
  • Keep well out of reach of children and pets. Wax melts can look like food or candy.
  • Do not add water to the dish, and do not overfill it.
  • Let the wax cool completely before handling or removing it.
