Care and precautions

  • Position it so it never obstructs your view of the road. Some states restrict objects hanging from the rearview mirror, so check your local rules — and never place anything where it could interfere with airbag deployment.
  • Avoid direct contact with the dashboard, upholstery, leather and trim. Fragrance oil can mark or soften interior surfaces, so let the freshener hang freely rather than resting against anything.
  • Parked cars get very hot. Heat intensifies the scent and can soften or warp the product. If the scent feels overpowering, remove it for a day and it will settle.
  • Keep out of reach of children and pets, including anyone in a car seat. Not edible.
  • Ventilate the car for the first day or two if the scent feels strong in an enclosed space.
